Pazham pozhi/Fried banana Fritters




Ingredients

Plantain -6 big ones
All purpose flour-6 Tbsp
Rice powder(white)-2 Tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Baking soda-1/4 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Salt- as required
Oil-for frying

Preparation

1. Cut the plantians into four pieces if its really big make it six
2.Mix the All purpose flour,Rice powder,sugar,salt and baking soda together to a medium thick consistency.
3.Heat the required amount of oil on medium to high heat and check for desired heat by adding a drop of batter to oil and if it pops up then dip the plantain cut in the batter and fry them.
