Ingredients
- Chicken- 1kg
- Chilly powder-2 tsp(used a mix of regular chilly powder and kashmiri chilly powder)
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder - 3/4 tbsp
- Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 3/4 tsp+1/2 tsp
- Green chilly-3-4 based on your tolerance level
- Ginger -1tbsp chopped finely
- Garlic -8 pods finely chopped
- Curry Leaves 2-3 spring
- Onion-3 medium sized finely chopped
- Tomato - 1 medium sized
- Salt-as needed
- Coconut oil -2-4tbsp
- On Thick bottom vessel,Add onions,ginger,garlic1 spring curry leaves,Chilly powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,half of pepper powder,Garam masala and salt
- Mix well with hands
- Now add cleaned chciken pieces to it and mix well
- Turn on the stove at medium heat at let the mixture cook covered stirring in between until chicken is cooked and the water has disappeared
- Once the chicken in the pot has turned into dry mixture,add coconut oil and curry leaves and roast it to desired consistency
- Garnish with Tomato pieces,cover the pan,turn off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes
