Channa masala

Ingredients 

Chana -1 cup
Water-  2 cups
Salt

Onion-2 1/2 medium
Ripe Tomato-2 1/2 medium
Ginger-medium size
Garlic-4cloves
Oil-2tbsp
Green chilli-1

Kashmiri chilli powder-1tbsp
Chilli Powder-1/2tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Garam Masala-3/4tsp
Cumin Powder-1tsp
Coriander Powder-1tsp

Jaggery-1 small piece
Coriander leaves 
Lemon juice

Preparation

Wash d Soak white chana in plenty of water for 4-5 hours
Cook by adding 2 cups of water in medium flame

In another pressure cooker ,add tomato ,onion,ginger ,garlic and water 
cook for 2 whistles in medium flame 
When pressure is released allow to mixture to cool down
Grind the mixture in a blender

In a bowl add all the spice powders and water and make a spice paste

Heat oil in a pan
Add one green chilli slits and coriander leaves.
Saute for few second 
Then add spice paste mixture untill raw smell is gone.
Now add blended onion,tomato mixture and mix well let it cook on simmer for 15 mins
Add the cooked chick peas,jaggery and chopped cilantro and cook it in simmer for another 5 mins
Garnish with extra cilantro and lime juice if needed
