Ingredients:
Pork –1 kgOnion - 2 medium (Thinly sliced)
Curry leaves
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 3 tsp
Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1½ tsp
Garam masala -1 tsp
Coconut oil
Salt- As needed
Preparation:
- Pressure cook pork with a handful of sliced onion,1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp coriander powder,1 tsp red chilly powder, ½ tsp pepper powder, salt and curry leaves.
- Add ¼ glass of water.
- Cook for one whistle on high flame and then 10 minutes on medium flame.(Instant pot manual for 8 minutes)
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan.
- Add the remaining onion and curry leaves.
- When the onion becomes soft, add ginger garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes away.
- Lower the flame and add turmeric powder. Sauté till the raw smell goes away.
- Add coriander powder, red chilly powder and pepper powder and saute until the raw smell goes away
- Add cooked pork , Mix well.
- Add Garam masala as per your taste.
- Cook covered on medium flame for 5 minutes.
