Pork Curry

Ingredients:

Pork –1 kg
Onion - 2 medium (Thinly sliced)
Curry leaves
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 3 tsp
Red chilly powder - 2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1½ tsp
Garam masala -1 tsp
Coconut oil
Salt- As needed

Preparation:

  1. Pressure cook pork with a handful of sliced onion,1 tsp ginger garlic paste, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 1tsp coriander powder,1 tsp red chilly powder, ½ tsp pepper powder, salt and curry leaves.
  2. Add ¼ glass of water. 
  3. Cook for one whistle on high flame and then 10 minutes on medium flame.(Instant pot manual for 8 minutes)
  4. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan. 
  5. Add the remaining onion and curry leaves. 
  6. When the onion becomes soft, add ginger garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes away.
  7. Lower the flame and add turmeric powder. Sauté till the raw smell goes away. 
  8. Add coriander powder, red chilly powder and pepper powder and saute until the raw smell goes away
  9. Add cooked pork , Mix well. 
  10. Add Garam masala as per your taste. 
  11. Cook covered on medium flame for 5 minutes.
