Sambar Powder


Ingredients

  1. Dried Kashmiri chilly(piriyan mulaku) -23 whole
  2. Dried chilly -25 whole
  3. Coriander seeds - 6tbsp
  4. Fenugreek seeds -1 1/2 tbsp
  5. Urad dal -5tbsp
  6. Channa dal -8tbsp
  7. Astofedia - 2tbsp
  8. Curry leaves -20
  9. Turmeric -3/4 tsp

Preparation

  1. Dry roast each ingredient separately.
  2. After cooling down,blend it all together using a coffee grinder or blender into fine powder.

The spice mix is ready for sambar.
