Ingredients
Prawns/Shrimp -500 gms
Onions finely chopped -2 cups
Ginger/Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomatoes -1/2 cup chopped
Green chillies - 2 slit
Salt -As required
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red chilly Powder- 2 tsp
Coriander Powder - 1/4 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Coconut milk - 1 cup
Oil -2tbsp
Boiled water -1/4 cup
Preparation
- Heat up a thick bottom pan on medium heat
- Add oil, add chopped onions and salt to it.
- Saute the onions until translucent.
- Add green chilly slits and ginger garlic paste.Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute for 5 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder and cumin powder.Saute until raw smell of spices disappear.
- Add boiled water to the mixture and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add cleaned prawns/shrimp and let it cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
- Add coconut milk and let it come to boil on medium heat.
- Sprinkle garam masala and turn off the heat.
Serve hot with rice,Tortilla,Chapati etc
